Instagram Spotlight : October Instagramers

I've decided to start a new thing here on my small blog, where I shed some light on Instagramers I'm digging at the moment. There's a ton of creatives out in the world today and thanks to big social media platforms like Instagram, these creative people can get the recognition they deserve.  Not that my blog has heavy traffic, but a little share here can lead to a discovery for anyone who stumbles along this post. Everyone is pushing and working toward their goals in life and I'm all about supporting those who work hard to produce awesome one of a kind content.  While I see quite a lot of people online promoting companies and providing ads for monetary value or simply just promoting themselves, I rarely see people supporting/sharing others work simply for the fact that they enjoy their content. So rather than post on just me, me, me, let me shed some light on some Instagramers I've been digging for the month of October.

   Decided to make a quick post on my recent stay out of town.  I helped out some former colleagues in house sitting for them at their beautiful country home in South Texas.

June Music Find

While browsing around Instagram, on several accounts, I stumbled my way back to one of my favorite pages @rueanafel . Her page is full of beautiful eye-pleasing photos of her journey as a stylist & floral designer. While scrolling through her feed, I came across one of her videos showing her bedroom . While the videography was appealing, the music immediately grabbed my attention. After researching who the artists behind the music was,  I now know of the incredibly talented man known as James Leyland Kirby. 

June Lookbook

My first style post is featuring one of my favorite dresses . On occasion, I  repeatedly get asked where this dress is from and with good reason ! I mean , It’s airy, comfy, and Its a wrap dress! I've worn this dress repeatedly through the spring season. I'm not too fond of many floral designs I find on clothing, but this type doesn’t over do the whole “ floral theme”. Apart from the print, you just can’t go wrong with a dress like this. I feel every girl has that one favorite item of clothing that makes them feel fantastic . Once you have it on, you feel like the best, most complete version of yourself. . This dress, would be mine.

I'm finally on Blogger , haha! Pretty weird to finally have a platform for daily thoughts & muses. As I've told many before, I've contemplated starting a blog for a few years. I first wanted to start a blog based solely on style, but I've since changed my mind. This is where I will post periodically on  style, recent discoveries, and any other life happenings. While I still run a separate blog on Tumblr, which caters to my historic/movie interests, poetry, literature and other inspirations, this one will be a bit more personal.
